You can get a forgivable loan of up to $3,500. In Alberta , the SHARP allows you a maximum loan of up to $40,000. Newfoundland & Labrador’s Home Modification Program (HMP) provides funding in the form of forgivable grants of up to $7,500 and repayable loans of up to $13,000.
